Escalators can be very dirty and not ready for maintenance cleaning, they require restorative cleaning before you can begin a scheduled maintenance program using REN pads.

REN Deep Cleaning Process

How It Works

Step 1

DRY Tread Brush

Place the Tread Brush on the oncoming escalator, keep the brush level. Allow the Tread Brush to collect dust and dirt for 3 to 5 rotations.
Lift the Tread Brush and vacuum the collected dust and dirt.

Step 2

WET Tread Brush

Apply the undiluted RESTORE onto the tread surface. Place the Tread Brush on the moving escalator using slight downward pressure, keep in place for 5 rotations. This process will bring up the deep dirt into a liquified sludge.

Step 3

DRY Tread Pad Final Cleaning

REN Tread Pads used DRY will absorb and lift away the loosened, liquefied dirt. Mutiple dry Tread Pads are needed to achieve final cleaning and drying. Tread Pads can be washed and reused.
